Super 8 by Wyndham Victoria - South - Hwy 59

This is by far the best remodeled and cleanest room we have experienced in Texas!!! The value of a high quality peaceful, restorative night's sleep is immeasurable and the owners-managers have exceeded in the urban chic Texas inspired decor, new furniture and appliances; mattress comfort; and attention to detail in preparation for guests at such a generous price. Thank you so much!! Upon arrival, the owner who checked us in knew because he read my message that my husband had an acute mobility issue and caringly assigned us a room that would take care of us in terms of luggage and proximity 💝 This meant the world to me as we were exhausted driving days en route to care for my mother who was getting out of the hospital and returning to nursing care. The people who own this property put their heart into the highest standards represented in their physical investment of shiny rooms; fresh new fluffy sanitized towels and bedding; and mopped vinyl flooring!! The way to go!! :-)) As we are a modest retired family of limited means, you are the profession of what it means to work hard and treat others as we would want to be treated. What you do and have done is to think of others more than yourselves which is a treasure in these times. I hope our travels to and from Ohio where my elder father-in-law lives take us to your Motel Super 8 in the future!! May all remain well for you both, your establishment, and guests!! I checked out on 2/2/24. As I pulled out of the parking lot, I was already missing Mr & Mrs Sam and their hospitality! I asked Mr Sam at check in about security. They have a patrol and cameras. The room exceeded my expectations because I didn't have to clean it when checking in. It was extremely clean. (I carry cleaning supplies because most hotel rooms are not clean.) I had a question. I went to the office. When I stepped in, a bell sounded. Running. I heard foot steps approaching. Mr Sam was there within 3 seconds. Awesome customer service.

I stayed for one night, but this was like getting a five star hotel for the price of a one star hotel! I highly recommend this Super 8. The staff was friendly and accommodating and even upgraded my room when I complimented them on the quality of the facilities! My room was well designed, and it was very convenient for me. The furnishings and appliances were much higher quality than you would normally expect from a hotel. The sheets were clean and crisp and the linens smelled so fresh. The bed was very comfortable and obviously the pillows were very high-quality. The room was quiet and comfortable and I got the best nights sleep that I have had in a long time. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the breakfast room was very clean and nicely designed, and the clerk was very helpful. It’s obvious that this property is very well managed and definitely I recommend that you spend your money here where you will get the best value and your expectations will be met or exceeded in every way.

Office manager was the best went out of his way to make it all good. My only trouble was was there were a lot of nails in the parking lot but I looked passed that bc thus place was still being renovated. Room was clean bed comfortable a.c. was great. I would stay again especially once completed. Overall the manager made the stay the reason I would come again. Also they did a great job making sure there were plenty of outlets for charging everything
